Please Note: Issuance of an NPI does not ensure or validate that the Health Care Provider is Licensed or Credentialed.

For more information please refer to NPI: What You Need to Know

This web site pulls directly from the NPI Registry directory of all active National Provider Identifier (NPI) records.

Individuals or organizations apply for NPIs through the CMS National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES). After the provider receives an NPI, parts of the NPI record with public relevance, including the provider’s name, specialty (taxonomy) and practice address are published.

Please verify address to ensure that the correct address is indicated. Some common issues we see at Hannalytics is a home address listed as the mailing address.

Steps to verify/update:

  1. Visit the NPPES NPI Registry: https://npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov/
    • Providers can search for their NPI and verify the information on file.
  2. Log in to NPPES : If changes are needed, providers can log into their NPPES account: https://nppes.cms.hhs.gov/.
    • From here, they can update addresses, specialties, and other relevant details.
    • Tip: If using a personal address as the mailing address, consider updating this to an office address or PO box to protect privacy.
  3. Update or Correct NPI Information: Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the NPPES portal to submit updates securely.

Please note: The information NPI search at Hannalytics.co is provided “AS IS” and in accordance with the NPPES Data Dissemination Notice, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and e-FOIA ammendments. The NPI Enumerator can be reached at (800) 465-3203 or P.O. Box 6059, Fargo, ND 58108
